Working time stands still,
Home time flies faster than thought,
Too late I realize.
My dreams fade away,
Like ships on the horizon,
Never to return.
Rollerblader dude,
Chugging red sugar water,
Sweating profusely.
Light-hearted laughter
Floats out of concrete skate park,
Infecting everyone.
Brokedown red daabaan,
I bought and then refinanced,
Drags me anchor-like.
I thought I was cured,
But I blundered and stumbled,
Right back to square one.
Writing bad haiku,
Instead of distilling thought,
Meaning gets muddy.
